Lytle Colliery

The Lytle, a complete coal processing plant, was in operation from c. 1889 to c. 1950 in Primrose, PA, It was known to be the deepest mine in the hard coal region of Pennsylvania and the largest employer of men from the Minersville area and all of Schuylkill County.
